Goats and Horses

The goats have started kidding, 1 set of twins today. I think they will be more spread out this year. It's easier for the nannie's to keep up with the little ones if there are not so many at one time.

Disappointing news on Little Girl, she was bred to foal in May. I had her checked Tuesday and no foal. I guess I'll have to try again for one next year. Or maybe I'll come home with a new one at the sale this weekend. Joe is suposed to be looking for his own ranch horse.

Wind

The wind started blowing around 2 am and hasn't quit yet. It's hard to get much sleep when you are worried about a trampoline flying through your window.

V's basketball team won again tonight 15-9. She played most of the game.
E is working on a science fair project. I think she has decieded to try to grow grass in sterile soil.

Basketball and Crafts

V's team won tonight 39-5, she doesn't play as much when they are that far ahead. 3 more games this week then the season is over.

This is a craft project E worked on this weekend. She got the directions in a sewing kit for Christmas and picked out this project to do. It is a greeting card. She never seems suprised that I can always come up with all of the supplies for things she wants to make.

We lost a goat to coyotes this week. Hopefully, we will be getting a trapper to come in soon.

V's Steer "Thunder"

V has another steer this year. She named him Thunder. We have worked with him some but not a lot lately because I have basketball.

We had a b-ball game today. We played Marion the score was 32-35. We lost. I scored 2 points. Our total record so far is 5-7. We have games all this week and then we are done for the season.

I am now taking guitar lessons. I have already learned 4 chords. Thank you A for the loan of the guitar.

E had a substitute teacher today so not much happening at school. She says to tell everyone Hi.

J says not much variation in his schedule; feeding, buying feed, feeding some more.

I think he would like it better when the farm looks like this again.

WE'RE HERE, in the 21st century.

What do you think of this C?
Can you believe we are actually blogging. We were so impressed by a friends blog we thought we would try, so here goes.

V has a basketball game at Marion tomorrow. She just got back from resurrection today, I think she had a good time although she didn't get much sleep because her friend S snored.
V visited a wax museum while in Gatlinburg and said hi to Forest.
I think this is all we will tackle for today. Just wait until we get rolling good.
