Friday's Fences #81

J has another orphan calf to raise.  It seems like there is at least one every season.
I really like how the older cattle are looking through the other fence at the calf.
She's a cute little thing.

Seems like every year we have a bottle baby too. We had 5 splices(grafts) this year, thought we escaped the no bottle babies. No luck. But I do love feeding them. Love the looky loo's.
Those Bees! YIKES!

It's always fun to have one! I'm not talented enough to feed them through a fence.

How cute!
Cattle are such curious creatures.

The last time I bottle fed a calf was in 1978! How I wish I could do it again.

We had a few for a while, but sold one, grafted one and the last one didnt make it (it was pretty starved when he was found)
