We moved some cattle Friday and part of them went up the road to our other farm. After we got them through the new gate J latched it and said, "I don't guess that needs a piece of wire on it."
He stared at it a long time, tested it, said he didn't think that the cows would lick the chain off, and very slowly started to walk away. I said that it didn't matter to me because I didn't use that gate. He immediately turned around and added the piece of wire.

well once you think of something that can go wrong that is just the thing that does, so I think he has the right of it
