After 3 1/2 weeks of below freezing temperatures day and night we finally had 2 days in a row in the 50's.
But melting snow can only mean one thing,mud. After much worry and some fearless goose neck trailer drivers, we were able to get the calves loaded and hauled to the market to get weighed.
The 88 head made a full load for the tractor trailer.
It's suppose to be 3 degrees in Nebraska when they get there tomorrow morning.
J made one final inspection and they were off. I think he would be happy it the feed yard put in a web cam so he could check on them every day.
nice to get them moved.
