Friday was the day the weanlings and leftover yearlings were rounded up for their trip to the feedlot.
A neighbor has a set of certified scales and a place big enough to get a tractor trailer in.
After they are all weighed, J calculated to see how heavy the load was. It there is too much weight we would have to cut some back out. We were actually 1000 pounds shy of a full load so pretty close.
Of course I have to check out the view the neighbors have of our place while I'm there. (and no, all of that bottom land is not ours.
