Have I mentioned the pear crop this year?
I don't know if it is possible, but I think there are even more than last year.
Once again, the limbs are sagging under the weight of all the pears.
Of course you know what this means for J,
more pear sauce! Maybe I'll be able to make enough where he won't have to be so stingy with it at holidays. This little blender thing is wonderful, much easier than the potato masher I used last year.

ReplyDeleteAll ours, and the apples, and the plums, and the damsons et al! All lost in April, due to being very dry and warm?........To early. Yours look wonderful
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm envious of your bumper crop! Believe it or not, I've never had pear sauce. It sounds fabulous. Do you make it the same way you make apple sauce?
