Since building the barn this summer we have been making due with a temporary electric fence.
The fence builders finally came and have been busy little beavers. We now have a permanent fence around the barn, (electric high tensile so you can't really see it well in the picture)and a large horse lot on the lower side. Just waiting on some green gates now.
While they were here, J had them finish the last side of the barn lot at the old barn. Now maybe we won't have to worry about that one for another 20 years.
You mean there is such a thing as fence builders? Oh, yeah, you have girls. Our boys are our fence builders, and pasture draggers, and lawn mowers...that sounds like slave labor, doesn't it? Truth is they love living on a farm.
ReplyDeleteLove that barn! It looks great with the rolling hills in the background. Wish we had some of those around here.
You'll love that high tensile fence! Best thing we ever did here around our heifer pen!
ReplyDeleteVery nice fencing!
ReplyDeleteIm not a fan of high tensile fence, but electirc should keep anything away for sure. Sure makes me wish for a barn when ever you post, well one day, sigh.
