J made an announcement a couple of days ago. "Be prepared, we are selling the goats sometime this year."
He is very frustrated that the goats continue to get into and onto the hay. They tear off the net wrap and destroy the bales. I said, "How about putting the electric netting around the hay." J decided this might be a good idea. (previously, we only had one strand of electric wire to just keep the cattle out)
So now the hay is protected.
And maybe J's frustration level will decrease enough to keep the goats.
That was good thinking! They sure can make a mess, can't they?!
ReplyDeleteI kind of get how he feels, a mess like that I might have suggested eating the goats. But I get grumpy and say rotten things . Glad you found a fix
ReplyDeleteI only have one goat and she is firmly tethered ( using one of my horse lunge lines) otherwise she is destructive in capital letters ....so I can see why you would be annoyed with that many on the loose!!!
ReplyDeleteI have heard they are destructive1 but sounds like you might have thwarted thier plans.
ReplyDeleteI hope the goats get to stay. They look so happy in your photo.
ReplyDeleteI've never bestowed awards to Blogs but felt it was time, there are so many great ones that I love to read! Yours is one of those I've chosen. You can pick up your award on my blog. Congratulations! 50+
I hope that works!
ReplyDeleteMy dad hates goats and refuses to ever own one after dealing with one doing things like this when he was a kid. Good luck!
