J is still feeding hay. If the weather stays nice and the grass has a chance to grow it won't be long before he can quit.
The fence around the hay lot leaves a lot to be desired but it is functional. Sissy is about the only thing that ever gets in there.
Looks like we make due with what we have. Maybe this year it will get a better fix.

We have lots of those functional fences out here in our part of the county. Everything is so expensive these days, the farmers are doing with what they have. I know you all will be glad when you do not need to be feeding hay....but then you will have to cut and bale it. You work never ends. genie

ReplyDeleteIt's finally gotten warm here this week. It didn't look like spring was coming and now it's like summer and as fast as the blooms came out they fell.
Hope your grass greens soon. I bet the cows will enjoy the new shoots too.
lots of fences to fix on a farm, my parents are constantly repairing theirs.
