Good Fences #104

With the weather getting better J had time to do a little more than just feed this week.
Tuesday, I helped him with some fence in the horse field.  As part of our developed spring, the spring head needs to stay fenced off.   This was put in about 18 years ago and some of the posts had rotted off and others were pushed over.
It's a good thing more help showed up or we would never have finished.  (Are you seeing the disgust in J's body language?  I was suppose to be running the horses off, not taking pictures ;)
J's is a wiz at fence repair.  Now maybe with the new boards and posts it will last another 18 years.

  6. I can imagine the work is never finished. Love ranches. Spent a lot of time on my grandparents farm, they had horses too, but didn't call it a ranch. Had cattle, tobacco and hay crops. I think it is great for kids to grow up on a farm.

  8. My hubby looks the same way when he has an agenda & I grab my camera lol. Some things are more important and just take a second, or two. Your horses are classic helpers, ours never get in the way either ;)
