27 Pounds

We are trying a new thing, garlic powder for tick control.  There are studies that it helps with flies on cattle, but we are hoping it will work for ticks too. 

A technician from work uses it with their cattle and he had several neighbors that use it with apparent success.  So I ordered 27 pounds from an on line restaurant supply company.  It arrived today.

It is very smelly.  We are adding 2 pounds to 50 pounds of salt.  

Technically, you should start feeding it 3 weeks prior to fly season.  But I am thinking better late than never.  Wish us luck.
