Winter Prediction

I have been seeing a few wooly worms recently, but there is no consensus on what kind of winter we will have.  Some have been solid brown, predicting a mild winter. 

 Some have been black, brown and black, in equal parts, predicting a moderate winter.

And some are all black, predicting the next ice age.  I hope the last on is not right.
