Joe brought me home Saturday evening. I think they kept me an extra day because I fainted Friday morning trying to brush my teeth. The doctor came in shortly afterwards and said I would probably be going home. I said that was a daunting thought considering I had just been drug back to bed by some big burly male nurse. It was decided by the powers that be,sometime that afternoon, that I would not be discharged until Saturday. That was more doable.
Now this is my view at breakfast. So sorry Kit Kat but you will have to wait for Joe. I cannot even push open the door. I will spare you the pictures but I was able to get Joe to take off the dressing over my incisions. He said that was not in his wheel house. But he managed and took a picture so I could see the 6 incisions and 66 staples.
Now sister C is here to babysit me while Joe can get some farm chores done. I am very thankful for all of the help and prayers.

Continuing prayers going up for your healing. It's frustrating to not be able to be mobile. Kit Kat looks like he wants to come and purr you back to health. It's better to be home than in the hospital, as long as you don't faint again!
Best wishes for your recovery! Your accident was horrific. Glad you are in good hands and back home.
I'm glad they waited to send you home (although I'm sure you were ready to go ASAP). Better to be safe.. I'm sure you are happy to be home :)
