We had our first spring calf born yesterday. It was in the first calf heifer group and it was a heifer. I am thankful that it wasn't born last weekend when it was 13 degrees. We had several friends that ended up losing calves born then.
J said this one was out and up in 10 minutes. Can't do any better than that.
We are trying out a new tagger that uses a one piece tag instead of 2. More on that later.
