Is there such a thing as "November Fool's Day"?
That's all that I could think when we woke up to 4 inches of snow Saturday morning. Luckily, it didn't stick around long. It was mostly gone by the next day except for a pile left by E's snowman.
Apparently, the storm was more isolated than I thought. An area north of us that always gets more snow only had an inch that later disappeared with the rain and sleet that followed.
At least our precipitation all came as a very picturesque white snow instead of slush.

it males the countryside so beautiful when it snows. Love the last shots of seeing the snow on the rump of the horse
Love #1
The rest I like.
oh, my! beautiful scenes, even if it was too early! thanks for sharing these!
Your horses are lovely! Do you raise, show, and sell Quarter Horses? I showed horses as a teenager and it was a great time in my life.
I enjoyed seeing the snow although I can wait to see it in person!
Please ignore the questions I posed above - I read your pages regarding your horses and have the answers. Good for you! Sounds like a really good life. I miss having horses.
Beautiful photos! I know many people are getting snow much earlier than they anticipated!
Well, isn't that amazing? Snow on Nov. 1st. I do think we are going to have a rough winter. Too bad.
Oh that would be a "mean trick" in my book. I'm so not a winter fan but I must say it made for some lovely wintery photos.
Geez! At least it melted...maybe Mother Nature will get it outta her system and you all will have a little milder winter!
Love your ponies....they look a little confused too!
Cheri
oh my gosh, that is crazy...even your horse is looking like "what?"!
Oh my, it looks very cold.. I love the horse. Not too crazy over the snow.. Lovely photos..
Ours may be here by the weekend. :-{
