This and That

Nothing major happening, just lots of little regular things. Some are more interesting than others. 

We have has some beautiful foggy mornings.  Then it has been in the 30’s for the last two mornings. I don’t think the weather knows that it is still officially summer. 

The goats are climbing trees. 

For some reason I get posts on Facebook from the Dull Men’s Club.  I thought this one was particularly funny.  Plus, it is a double collectable, both a face and a fence. 

I have been working on my rock garden some more. When I turned over a rock to bring it down the hill yesterday I found this black widow spider. I did had on gloves. But I did not let her live. 

 Then there is Kit Kat just because he is so handsome. 

Viking Chair

I had to laugh when this meme showed up on my Facebook. 

My wood is in the barn not the garage.  

These two pieces were salvaged from concrete forms used to reinforce bridge pillars at our other farm.  You just never know when some warped, cement stained, split boards might come in handy. 

I don’t remember where I saw it but I know I liked it.  The project was making a chair from one board. When I googled it, Viking chair or stargazer chair showed up. 

 I was wanting a place to sit in my rock garden and I thought this would fit the bill.  I am currently dragging down more rocks for a patio  like section where I just dug out an overgrown lilac bush. That was quite the chore which I only accomplished because Joe said it would be too difficult. That just makes me try harder.  When I asked him if he liked the chair Joe said,”not everyone will be able to sit in it and it might be difficult to get up out of.”  I said,”so you don’t like it?”  He answered,”did I say one negative thing about it?”  Well, technically no, that was two things. 

As Seen On Facebook

Since I am pretty much house bound, there hasn’t been much to post about.  I did make it to my clinic’s Christmas party and the the R’s Christmas party.  I had a good time at both and did not over do at all.  My pain has lessened and I am able to go up and down the stairs now.  So things are continuing to improve. With little else to do, I will share a few things I found humorous on FB.

This one is very much for me.  I have not been able to organize my penny shopping from last month.  I have a huge pile of things I bought just to be buying things.  But it is hard to pass by at a penny.

Mud Farm

This meme has been popping up on Facebook for a couple of years.

Well, that is about how Joe has been feeling lately.

 When it rains this time of year, it just doesn’t dry up.  And we have had a lot of rain lately.  Plus, it doesn’t help to have a bunch of just weaned calves stomping around in it.  

At least it isn’t over the top of Joe’s muck boots yet.

One of the vets that works Tuesday has COVID, so I was called on to work today.  So no farm pictures.  But I do have a few things that have caught my eye on Facebook I thought I would share.
