Can you think of a better activity for Valentine's day than working cattle?
If you are still together at the end of the day, then it was meant to be. Today, we sorted out 40 smaller end, and replacement heifers.
And worked 96 head to send to the feedlot in a couple of weeks. But Joe and I did have some good help. Mike carved out some time to come help push the cattle up the chute.
Working cattle meant 3 shots each. For those of you that are needle shy, that was 288 shots. I just drew up the vaccines, Joe gave the shots and Mike, as previously stated, pushed them up the chute.
Three hours later, we found the one we were looking for, the last one. No injuries and we are all still speaking with each other, so it was a good day. Hope everyone else had a good day too.

Nothing like good team work! Glad it all went smoothly and you had a good day.
Working cattle is bad enough (though also one of my favourite things to do), but catching pigs is also a real marriage tester lol
Lol! That's certainly a way to test a relationship! Glad you were still on speaking terms. ;)
