What better way to start the morning than to have one of your favorite horses grazing right outside your window.
When E leaves for school in the mornings she leaves the "Hank gate" down. I think Hank knows her schedule and seizes the opportunity to visit the yard. He is an expert at jumping the cattle guard. I'm so lucky to have such a smart and athletic horse. Looks like he is going to be the guinea pig for my next 4-H meeting. I have a vet friend that will be talking about equine dentistry and will demonstrate teeth floating on Hank. Lucky boy!
We also woke up to a beautiful fog in the valley.
And look what showed up in the mail! A lovely purple saddle blanket to match E's purple show shirt. Well it started out as E's but apparently size small was too big so I have inherited it. I think it will look smashing on Brother. Now I can't decided between black or tan pants. Any thoughts? It might just depend on what they have at Goodwill.
And lastly, I took a chance and bought a couple of scarfs off of Ebay from China. They actually came and look nice.
I was initially thinking of the Secret Santa for the Saddle Club but I think I can figure out how to wear this myself. And a bonus, it was only $3.00.

I think tan would go really well with the shirt, but so would black! :)
Smart boy! He knows where the green grass is.
Beautiful fog photo.
I think the tan pants would look good. Since Brother is dark, tan would stand out nice.

It's gorgeous there! I miss seeing green. Arizona is just so rocky, dusty, and bland. That's a really pretty show outfit!
