Otoelene and Brother seem to have become good friends. They hang out a lot together. This morning on the way down the driveway Brother had the road blocked. He started licking on the hook while Otoelene came up behind and started chewing on the spare tire cover. E finally had to roll down her window and use her tennis racked to get Brother out of the way. Guess she didn't want to be late for school.
Anyway, I like how the sun is highlighting Otoelene but wish Brother wasn't in so much shadow. I really like how interested they were in the calf.

They certainly know something isn't quite right about this picture. They are taking a double take on this one.
betsy
awww, they look so friendly. ( :
Friends are good - whatever and whoever they are. Great photos.
Otolene (love the name) does have quite the shine to her. Our little palomino miniature horse mare Honey Bee hasnt quite got her Spring shine yet. Honey Bee still has the shaggy buffalo look.
They were probably saying, "Where is her mother!?" "I don't know, but she's much too young to be crossing the field alone." "Her mother should have her hide tanned!"
Beautiful horses and nice farm fence...hey it's so nice seeing and reading about a little bit of your life there!
Nice horses! Forget the fence, give me what is behind it!
They are very curious...I wonder if they would hurt the calf!
Wonderful captures of your animals.
