Now that the calves have settled down, gotten over any sickness and are eating good, it was time to round them up to give them their vaccinations before sending them off to the feedlot.
We were planning on working them Monday but the weather was too miserable. Yesterday was much better. Still cold but not raining.
So after breakfast,
we herded them up to the barn for 3 shots each and 3 to dehorn. With just me and J working them it took about 3 hours.
That left the afternoon for horse work and a perfect opportunity to take Otoelene out and ride through to make sure everyone was ok.
