New Jeans Now Old

J had a few cull cows he was getting up to sell.  There were also two cows he had seen in heat that he wanted me to check first before he sold them.
The first one was a nice surprise and was pregnant.  The second one open.
Then, since we had all the cows in this group up, J dewormed them as we let them out.  Only the ground was very slick where it was thawing on top a little and frozen hard underneath.  After about the 4th cow J slipped and fell.
And managed to tear a hole in his brand new, first time wearing them, jeans.  Looks like I have some patching to do now.  It's sometimes hard to have anything nice on a farm.

That's about akin to the first scratch on a brand nrew vehicle. Jeans are so expensive these days!

I hope they protect J from getting hurt.
