Mike came Friday morning to help work a group of cattle.
We started off by sliding the chute back towards the post. Sometimes the cos hit the front so hard it slides forward. We have it tied the the posts but it still gets out of place. Then, where there is a gap, the cows always try to put their head through. After some prying and shoving, things were ready.
I had a pretty easy time, just drawing up the vaccines. Joe and Mike did all of the work. That left me fresh enough for a nice ride around the farm on Otoelene in the afternoon.
The weather has been very nice for riding lately and the flies haven’t gotten bad yet either.
It was a very nice Friday.

Great day! I love Otolene's ears when they go straight out to the side like that last photo.
