So not really "Just" Kit, but sometimes there is just too much going on here. Spoiler Alert (Warning to sister L, there is a picture at the end, don't let it scare you)
We had a surprise shipment from Amazon. It relates more to Brother, but more on that later. Kit is enjoying the box though.
Then we had some wonderful help with M and V coming to work the rest of the cattle here.
This poor fellow was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The cows got run through the chute for a "breed back" vaccine and the calves got a 7-way and ear tag. Quick and easy, especially with M pushing them through the chute. His pants looked a little like that poor calf's face when we were done. But with all my laundry supplies, I had him cleaned up in no time.
V was a wiz at the head gate again. She stayed fresh and manure free.
Then I reached for a gate and M hollered at me to not move. I was within inches of this fellow.
After much discussion, it was decided to let it live. I think he may help keep down the mice and birds from the barn. So a reprieve for now. But he better watch that he doesn't get too close, because we may not be so understanding next time.

Tough call on the snake (when you had such a close call). Hopefully that snake does his job.
M and V are definitely good help.
