But you wouldn’t know it from the pictures.
I was in the shop and heard a squeaking sound coming from under some old sacks. I thought it might be a mouse. But when I moved the sacks I saw this.
It was a bit of a surprise. Not really sure what a bat was doing in the shop or why it was even out this time of year.

What a surprise it must have been. I like bats but have never seen one up close.
Yikes - I wouldn't want to come face to face with one (even though I know they are very beneficial).
Do you have a bat house? Love bats, they eat mosquitoes and lots of other bothersome flying insects.
