I had a cat spay today that the owner said could be pregnant. She weighed 7 1/2 pounds and had a huge abdomen but no milk. A normal cat uterus looks like this...
It is very small with no appreciable weight.
This poor cat had a pyometra, which is an infected uterus. That is 2 pounds of pus there. I'm pretty sure she will be a different cat not having to deal with that any longer.

awe poor little cat! I work as a tech many years ago, we did a surgery on a little dog with pyometra I swear I thought the uterus was bigger than her when it was out!
Poor little thing. Two pounds of pus - yikes.
For some strange reason I'm reminded of a song from my childhood about school lunches. It included the line "tons and tons of all purpose porpoise pus" :)
