Thankful Sunday #2

I am thankful for the outdoor wood stove and all the wood J had cut and stacked ready to keep the house warm on these cold winter days.
J has, for the last 23 years, been cutting up down and dead trees off the farm to burn in the wood stove.
I am thankful we can keep the house at 72 degrees and not have to worry about the cost of electricity or oil.

J does an amazing job. And what a wonderful solution to both issues.

Nothing like wood heat!
We have an indoor wood stove, it is all we use for heat. Our back up is only a couple of baseboard heaters, which we don't ever use. I do have to get up in the middle of the night to add a few pieces of wood, but it is so worth it! I like those outdoor stoves, you can put much bigger pieces in them and don't have to stoke the fire as often as the smaller indoor stoves.
I am thankful for all my husband does to supply us with wood too!
