A visit with Emily just isn’t complete without some birding. She didn’t disappoint as my personal birding guide. This trip added 4 new species to my list shooting me up the county list all the way to 19th. I finally cracked the top 20.
And here are three of the ones that did it. From left to right, semipalmated, least, and pectoral sandpipers. I am totally taking Emily’s word for this. There is no way I could have identified them on my own.
One of these days I will have to head to the lake nearby. Emily said I could add a lot to my list if I went birding there. If I want top ten that is what I will have to do.
