We have some very special clients at the clinic, but this one has gone above and beyond. Monday, she brought in a full Thanksgiving meal, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, pasta salad, garden salad, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and some other things I am sure I am leaving out. It was a very special treat. And this isn’t the first time she has brought us big meals.
Then today, she come in, sets up two long tables, and covers them with presents for us to choose from. Everyone got the books, scissors, honey and traffic cone. I selected the other things from the vast array of items she brought. And can you believe some people did not want their traffic cones. They apparently have never wanted to set up any kind or equine pattern class to practice. Monday, she told me why she is doing this. She said when she retired she was saving so much in gas money she wanted to do something special for the businesses that she liked. Then during COVID when we were doing curbside service, there was another client yelling in the parking lot about how the receptionist cut her off instead of putting her on hold. She had thought were were already working hard and how much more difficult our jobs were with the changes. So she decided to start feeding us to show her appreciation. How wonderful is that.

How lovely. What a thoughtful and kind person.
There are nice people out there! They make up for the not-so-nice a hundredfold.
